Blocking and muster

The typographic blocking for the Blind Light catalogue was derived directly from the proportions of Gormley’s, Space Station. The further away one stands from the cover, the more legible Blind Light becomes.

Typography

Each voice within the catalogue has it’s own assigned font. Antony’s voice uses the same font impressed onto his sculptures by the foundry.

Event Horizon was featured as a series of 4 fold-out panoramic phoographs.

Hayward Gallery

This first major London solo show of Antony Gormley’s work featured a series of new works conceived for the Hayward Gallery. This included one of the largest ever urban public art commissions, Event Horizon: 31 sculptural casts of the artist’s body placed on rooftops and public walkways across central London.
